Find Us

We are a working farm, with a young family, so please be patient if we are temporarily unavailable.

We do our best to minimise these times, but inevitably at times this may happen. In the event of being unable to contact us please do leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The check in time for the huts is any time from 15:00hrs and the check out time is 10:30. This is to allow for a complete servicing of the huts in-between bookings. Cars and vehicles can be accommodated on the site after/ before these time slots so as not to break up the day, but not in the allocated parking for the huts.

There will be no charge for leaving a car/ vehicle on the field whilst you head out for the day to make the most of your stay.

If Heading From the North (M5)

Continue from the M5 to the A38 Devon Expressway. Leave the A38 at Wrangaton (sign posted Ermington/ Yealmpton). Take a left turning at the top of the slip road. At the next crossroads (Kitterford cross) go straight ahead. When you reach California cross (marked by a pub on the right and a petrol station on the left you can either head through Loddiswell (first turning on left after the garage) or Aveton Gifford (second turning).

The first route has better roads and mostly dual directional. The second route is shorter but consists for the most part of single lane traffic. Once you reach these villages then you head out and follow signs for Malborough/Salcombe on the A381. Once you reach Malborough you will follow the road round a sharp bend to the left and head towards Salcombe. We are one mile from here. We are the first signed left turning out of Malborough along this road. The sign is a little white finger post signed "Ilton and Alston". You should also be able to see our campsite sign below on the verge. (Ilton Farm Campsite). 200 m down this lane you turn up to the left and enter the camping field. The huts should be visible.

If you arrange an arrival time we will be there to greet you, failing this please come down to the Farmhouse (righthand side of the road) and we will show you to your hut.

If Heading From the South (Cornwall)

A38: Come off the A38 at Ivybridge and either follow the signs for Westlake or for Ermington. Once you are through either of these villages you follow signs for Modbury. Once through Modbury head for Malborough/ Salcombe and the A381. Then follow this road to Malborough and as above.

From Plymouth: Head out of Plymouth towards Modbury/ Yealmpton on the A379, This road will bring you all the way to the A381 and then follow instructions as above.

If at any stage you are struggling to find us or need some extra help/ guidance please do just give us a call.

(p.s. Sat-nav systems are likely to bring you through the back-lanes to our postcode so I recommend the routes above, unless you enjoy a scenic drive and can reverse easily!!)
